The story of House Boris

House Boris is a farmhouse dating from 1700, thoroughly renovated Spring 2026 and converted into a Clévacances two stars rated, dog-friendly holiday home for 2 to 4 people. It is a split-level house, with 4 living levels and short staircases from one floor to the next. The house is partly built into the hillside, which means that the main entrance is on the first floor. Downstairs is the kitchen, half a floor above the main entrance, hallway, bathroom and toilet, and half a floor above that is the living room with an open connection to the sleeping loft. House Boris is a cosy and atmospheric cottage, modernly furnished with respect for the old architectural style.

Of course, all amenities for dogs are provided: drinking and eating bowls, cushions, rugs and blankets, toys and much more. But humans have not been forgotten either: monitor with DVD player (& DVDs), radio-CD-USB player (& CDs). Kitchen with dishwasher, gas stove and oven, large fridge-freezer (freezer compartment approx. 50 litres), extractor hood, microwave and all the small household appliances you could need.

On the top floor, there are two single beds (80x200cms) that can be coupled and a third, folding bed. In the living room, a fourth (sofa) bed can be found. All this with excellent sleeping comfort thanks to a good mattress topper, lots of pillows and single duvets.

The house is heated by a cosy wood-burning stove in the living room, centrally located in the house. Downstairs in the kitchen, there is an electric stove with a thermostat. Also the toilet and bathroom can be heated electrically.

The house has a lovely terrace with beautiful views and a large plot of land (approximately 1500 square metres) that is completely enclosed by sheep wire fences (approximately 1.5 metres high). The recently enlarged plot is a real dog's paradise with considerable differences in level: wonderful for climbing, running, exploring and romping around! A picnic table, sun loungers, parasols and gas barbecue complete the outdoor experience.

Upon request, we install free WiFi throughout the house and on the terrace.

Prices are based on two people sharing. We charge €15 per day for each additional person. An unlimited number of dogs are welcome, subject to the size of the accommodation. There are no additional costs for dogs, no high season supplement and no other costs apart from the statutory tourist tax.
